Nostra Hybrid IT
Over the past 2 years as I investigated Cloud technology and how it actually applied to business I discovered a number of things.
Firstly, Cloud doesn’t mean what we all think it means. Does anyone really care what Cloud actually is or stands for, I don’t think so. What business care about is the fact that it works in a meaningful way for their business. There are lots of products out there that look nice and sound great, the cloud doesn’t change much, but it makes life so much easier.
We have developed a Hybrid IT solution: Basically, some cloud, some onsite servers. What this means is you move the services to the cloud that we know work really well (EG: Email & File) and we leave accounts, Management software etc. in your office. So you get to dip your toe in the water and move the most complex systems from your business.
I think in 2010 every business needs to look at this as a solution. Why run an internal email server when you can get a cheaper and better version over the internet. You also don’t need to worry about backup anymore and you have complete Email Disaster recovery.
Definitely the future and the future is NOW.
