Cloud and Ireland need to be linked so the nation seen as a global leader

Ireland needs to become a global industry leader in cloud technology says Kevin O’Loughlin, Managing Director of Irish IT company Nostra Systems. “Cloud is the way forward, Microsoft is in Ireland, Intel is in Ireland, we need to become the hub for cloud technology worldwide.”
Companies in Ireland are now asking: “Is it the time now to move to cloud technology? Why are we all talking about it and yet no one really understands what it means for business?”
Nostra Systems has taken a very practical approach to cloud technology to debunk some of the myths and mis-information which surrounds it. “Before long, a business having a server will be as foreign an idea as a business having a generator instead of using an ESB Networks supply” says O’Loughlin. “Nostra has built a Hybrid IT solution, meaning you can use ‘some cloud’ and ‘some onsite systems’, effectively giving you the best of both worlds and allowing you to explore cloud and what it can do for your business.”

We are still looking for great people, but they are not as easy to find as you would think. As a people business we need to get the people right every time”.
